What is it:

Absolutely delicious and mostly neglected fish, except for true fish lovers, sardines are a regular on the table of most Mediterranean countries. Savoury and easy to cook. This tagine is a regular on the table of Moroccan families !!!

Ingredients
  • Preparing the Sardines:

  • 10 Medium to Big Sardines: 500g / 1.1 lbs

  • Plain Vinegar: 40 ml / 1.5 Fluid Oz

  • Water: 40 ml / 1.5 Fluid Oz

  • Sea Salt: 1/2 tsp

  • Cumin: 1/2 tsp

  • Chermoula:

  • Parsley: 12g / 1 Tbsp

  • Cilantro: 12g / 1 Tbsp

  • Garlic: 4 Cloves

  • Zest of 1 Lemon

  • Juice of 1 Lemon

  • Ingredient

  • Olive Oil: 3 Tbsp

  • Sea Salt: 1 tsp

  • Pepper: 1/2 tsp

  • Paprika: 1 Tbsp

  • Coriander: 1 Tbsp

  • Cumin: 1 Tbsp

  • Chili Powder: 1/4 tsp

  • Tomato Paste: 2 Tbsp

  • Water: 40 ml / 1.5 Fluid Oz

  • Vegetables:

  • Potatoes: 2 (Medium)

  • Tomatoes: 1 (Big)

  • Onions: 1 (Medium)

  • Green Peppers: 1/2
