About the recipe

My grandfather use to buy me madeleines for me and their memory is stuck in my head and they always have special place in my heart and stomach. This traditional recipe will yield some amazing, hot out of the oven, soft and delicious madeleines. They are perfect for casse croute (tea or coffee break) to enjoy with friends and family !

Ingredients

120 g / 4.3 oz of All Purpose Flour

100 g / 3.5 oz of Granulated Sugar

115 g / 4.0 oz Unsalted Butter

3 Medium Eggs

15 g / 1 Tbsp of Brown Sugar

20 g / 2.5 tsp of Honey

1 g / Big Pinch of Salt

5 g / (3/4) tsp of Baking Powder

The Zest of 1 Lemon

The Zest of 1 Orange

Powdered Sugar
